In this intensive day, the participants get the basics and beyond on adhesives, and adhesive technologies, adhesive chemistry, the effect of environmental conditions, surface preparation, adhesive life span, and more.

The seminar is led by Prof. Hana Dodiuk, an expert in the science and technology of adhesives, and her experience is a vast pool of knowledge combined with experience in Israel and the world.

Seminar program – adhesive technologies – theory and practice:

Prof. Hana Dodiuk is an expert in researching technologies of adhesions and adhesives, polymers and nanotechnology applications and related developments in industry and one of the leading researchers in these fields/ serves as the head of the plastic engineering department since 2006 and was one of its founders.
Dodiuk completed her doctoral studies with honors at Tel Aviv University, after which she served there as a lecturer in the Faculty of Chemistry. Between the years 1991-1997 she managed the materials and processes unit at Rafael and was the first woman to reach a senior position of this type in the defense industries. Between the years 1998-2000 she served as the president of the Israel Association for Polymers and Plastics and was recently awarded honorary membership for her many years of contribution to the organization.
Over the years, Dodiuk published over 130 articles in the professional literature, she is responsible for about 20 patents and gave about 160 lectures at international conferences in which she participated. She edited two professional books in the field of plastics and polymers, is an active member of leading professional newspaper systems and many associations dealing with her areas of expertise. In the meantime, she serves as a consultant to a large number of Israeli and international companies and in March 2017 was elected as a member of the Board of Directors.
