The test is used to assess the cleanliness of the laundry and the quality of the fabric, and to confirm that it meets the requirements for the intended application. The test is described in the standards IEST-RP-CC003.4 and IEST-RP-CC004.3, and they are a threshold requirement for laundry approved by the, FDA, GMP, Ministry of Health for pharma companies, as well as for the aerospace industry, and for all the advanced companies in the world, that cleanliness is really important to them in their clean room.
