Product description:
Sylgard 170 is a two component, black, room temperature and heat curing silicone suitable to be used as an encapsulant or potting material. Potential applications include relays, high voltage resistor packs, amplifiers, transformers, industrial controls, sensors, connectors, and power supplies. Dow Sylgard 170 Silicone Elastomer provides moderate thermal conductivity, good flowability, long working time, low viscosity, and flame resistance. The polydimethylsiloxane silicone elastomer delivers stress relief in applications where hard, rigid encapsulants can cause damage during thermal cycling.
